RouteMaster and RouteMaster VR V2.7.0 introduces a REST API for router control. This is only available with the optional API license, and is not present in RouteMaster Lite.
The REST API allows control of all primary routing functions including changing router crosspoints, locking and unlocking destinations, and retrieving source and destination names.
The API operates over HTTP or HTTPS, and use JSON for message payloads. Configuration of the API is via the usual Client Configuration dialog.
