Installing software onto the new machine
Registered users can download the current and archived software versions directly from our support website.
Use of the latest software requires a valid support contract, and will not run if the license does not allow it. Therefore, we strongly recommend you keep a safe copy of the actual software installer that you’ve used. Rascular cannot guarantee the availability of archived versions for download in future.
Running the installer is straightforward, and just requires acceptance of the license terms.
Restoring the configuration
After installing the software, you should restore the license, configuration and database files that you previously backed up.
For WebCentre systems, your should also Restart NGINX after restoring the configuration files. Type “Restart NGINX” into the windows search box to locate the action for this
Using Virtual Machines
We recommend the use of virtual machines for running RouteMaster and WebCentre. The virtual machine can then be run on a different hardware platform, with all licenses, configuration and data automatically available.
