If you’re experiencing problems with any of our web-based products like WebCentre or RouteMaster WebPanels, we may ask you to send a .HAR file for analysis. You can create these in most browsers, but here’s a quick introduction to creating them from Chrome.
A .HAR file contains a record of the browser’s interactions with a server.
- Open the webpage showing the issue in Chrome
- Open Chrome Developer Tools (CTRL-SHIFT-I)
- Switch to the
Network
tab - Enable
Preserve Log
andDisable Cache
- Clear any entries shown
- Press
F5
to refresh the page. Chrome will capture all HTTP requests - Use the Download button to save the .HAR file
- Email it to us!
