When ET-Updater is first installed, it will operate as an Evaluation Copy. This performs exactly like the full version, but with the following changes.
- You are limited to control of one device.
- A warning dialog box must be dismissed every fifteen minutes.
When you register your copy of ET-Updater, the warning box is removed, and the number of units you can control will depend on the license purchased.
You can tell if your version is correctly licensed from the ‘About Box’, which will display the number of units allowed or an “Evaluation Copy” message. Error messages about licences are also shown here.
Rascular products can either be licensed using Licence Files, or by registering a Serial Number. If you have a license file, you do not need to register a serial number, and vice-versa.
